Yongala Dive is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort based in Alva Beach, Ayr with the closest proximity to the S.S.Yongala.
Established in 2003, we have gained an international reputation for providing a high quality experience, professional service and staff, safety and value.
Our dive centre is ideally located at Alva Beach, complete with on-site accommodation to meet the needs of all our passengers and overnight guests.
We are an Eco Certified operator - this means we offer tourism in a natural area that focuses on optimal resource use, leaving minimal impact on the environment & offering interesting ways to learn about the environment. We are committed to offering an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable experience. Some of our practices include:

We limit our numbers 12 passengers to ensure you have the best possible experience.
We are the fastest way to get wrecked! Our purpose built boats will get you to the Yongala in just over half an hour.
We provide a unique trip, with a beach launch and a fast, exhilarating ride to the dive site!
As diving enthusiasts, our professional staff provide lots of personal attention to ensure your dive trip is a safe and memorable experience.
Accessibility information
We try our best to accommodate all guests traveling with us. The only accessibility element that would preclude a guest from traveling with us is a guest with mobility challenges such as guests in wheelchairs due to beach access and steep ladder.
Things to consider before you book with us:
• Vessel access is via a short beach walk and a steep ladder
• Our office has wheelchair access
• Toilets have wheelchair access
